Background

Vikash joins KBH as a Paralegal in the Disputes team, supporting the firm’s practice across commercial litigation and arbitration matters, with exposure to employment, shareholder and investment disputes. Alongside this, he also assists the firm’s corporate team.

His work focuses on DIFC litigation and international arbitration. Vikash has experience assisting with the preparation of Statements of Claim and Defence, affidavits, interim applications, awards and hearing bundles, and has supported counsel at DIFC hearings, client meetings and expert meetings.

Prior to joining KBH, Vikash worked with the international arbitration team of a leading regional law firm, where he assisted on matters seated in the ADGM and DIFC, supporting research, document review and case preparation for ongoing disputes. He also gained further litigation exposure through an internship with another firm’s dispute resolution practice, and completed a period with a High Court in India, where he was exposed to court reporting and litigation procedure. Alongside this, Vikash worked with the corporate team of a prominent UAE law firm on general corporate matters and corporate structuring, including memoranda and articles of association, as well as research and drafting on data protection, real estate, labour and company law. At NMDC Energy, he was exposed to contract variations and valuations for clients including ADNOC and TotalEnergies.

Vikash spent a year as a freelance Electronic Presenter of Evidence with Opus 2, supporting the presentation of evidence during arbitration and litigation proceedings in the UAE.
