Internship Opportunities

KBH is committed to providing meaningful and educational internship opportunities that allow students to gain practical experience in the legal industry.

 

Eligibility:

Internship positions at KBH are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing degrees in law or related fields. Candidates should exhibit a strong interest in legal practice, demonstrate exceptional academic performance, and possess effective communication skills with examples.

 

Application and Selection Process:

Potential interns should submit a formal application, including their resume, cover letter, and academic transcripts. The selection process may involve interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ suitability for the internship program.

 

Duration and Schedule:

Internships at KBH are typically offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with a duration ranging from 1 to 6 weeks. The internship schedule will align with the firm’s operational hours, and flexibility may be provided to accommodate academic commitments.

 

Responsibilities and Learning:

Objectives Interns will be assigned specific tasks and projects under the supervision of senior lawyers and partners. The tasks may include legal research, drafting documents, attending meetings, and administrative support. Learning objectives will be set at the beginning of the internship to ensure alignment with interns’ academic goals.

 

Professional Conduct:

Interns are expected to adhere to professional standards of conduct, punctuality, and dress code during their time at KBH. They are required to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and respect the firm’s policies and guidelines.

 

Mentorship and Supervision:

Each intern will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance, support, and feedback throughout the internship. Regular check-ins and evaluations will be conducted to assess progress and address any concerns.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Internships at KBH are unpaid, and no financial compensation will be provided. However, interns will benefit from gaining practical legal experience, exposure to the legal industry, and potential networking opportunities.

 

Intellectual Property and Work Product:

Any work, documents, or intellectual property produced by interns during their internship will be the property of KBH. Interns are expected to maintain the confidentiality of the firm’s clients and projects and will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

 

Exit and Evaluation:

At the conclusion of the internship, interns will participate in an exit interview and evaluation process to discuss their experience, receive feedback, and provide suggestions for improvement.

 

Offer of Employment:

Successful completion of an internship at KBH does not guarantee an offer of permanent employment. However, outstanding interns who demonstrate exceptional skills, commitment, and alignment with the firm’s values may be considered for future opportunities.

 

Amendment and Termination:

KBH reserves the right to modify or terminate the internship program, policies, and assignments at any time.
